Casting Information For Children
Thanks for your interest in the next catalog shoot for Oré Originals. Please read information carefully below:
upcoming shoot dates Early November 2012 exact dates TBD
We are looking for three age categories:
10 - 18 months
2 - 4 ish
5 - 7 yrs old
photo shoots are normally located in Long Beach at a private home. A parent[s] will be required to be on set with their child during the shoot.
Generally we schedule each child for one hour to two hours periods. With smaller children we sort of go with their nap times and overload capabilities when we say we're finished. As the shoot gets closer, we can provide you with an accurate call time and more detailed information if you are chosen.
Parents are asked to bring the child in a set of clothes that are generally pattern/color neutral. Depending on which product will be assigned, sometimes we ask for a colored tee and jeans or khakis. We don't expect parents to purchase anything, just bring what is already in the child's closet.
products range from lunch sacks, bibs, plate sets and play or back packs. We're looking to capture the child with the product in a natural setting so sometimes we'll be outside or in a park-like setting. Snacks will be provided for the kids as needed, sometimes we fix sandwiches and food props for a shot. We can talk about any food allergies as we get closer if that's a concern.
COMPENSATION:
$100 gift certificate towards product
CD of professional images for your private usage - images are usually sent to parents 6-10 weeks after the shoot, based on when the catalog prints.
USAGE:
parents will be required to sign a full release. images will be used on the companies website, wholesale catalogs and other P.O.P usages, including ads. The release is a full release for images for the duration of usage by ORÉ as they see fit.

Casting Information For Pets
Thanks for your interest in the next catalog shoot for Oré Originals. Please read information carefully below:

We are looking for [mostly] small to medium sized dogs
on occasion we need a large dog [lab sized] as well
CATS... though we've found it difficult to transport a kitty and have them not be completely freaked out. If you have a chilled out cat we'd love to chat.
photo shoots are normally located in Long Beach at a private home. Owners will be required to be on set with their pet. Pets don't have to do tricks per se, but should be well behaved and take a command to sit and be able to hold still for a few seconds so that we can take photos. We generally book pets for about an hour's time.
products will range from pet toys, to pet bowls. We usually entice the pet with a smear of pet food in a bowl or a few kernels of kibble / pet cookies.
